Gradually, it gave way to churidhar, pyjamas, angrakha, and finally a sari for women. Kathak dance jewellery is mainly ornaments of gold and silver for the head, arms, hands, fingers, waist, feet, and the small ankle bells, also called ghungroos.

Mohiniyattam Dance Costumes
We are good at manufacturing costumes for Mohiniyattam. The Mohiniyattam Dance Dress is an off-white plain saree, embellished with a gold-laced or bright golden-colored brocade, embroidered on the borders. A matching blouse finishes the look. The front part of the saree has pleated cloth with saffron or golden coloured bands starting from the waist.

Odissi Dance Costumes

The Odissi dance dress saree is a Sambalpuri saree, or a patta saree, or a silk saree, which is a brightly coloured saree supplemented by either a black or red blouse called the kanchula, embellished with diverse stones and gold and silver threads. The jewellery pieces themselves are an important part of the Odissi dancer’s costume and are comprised of the tikka (forehead ornament), allaka (head piece on which the tikka hangs), and unique ear covers in intricate shapes (kappa), usually depicting a peacock’s feathers, with jhumkis (bell-shaped earrings) hanging from them.

We are good at manufacturing costumes for the Manipuri lassi dance. The dance is based on Krishna leela and Raas leela themes. As a distinguishing mark, Radha wears a green-coloured skirt while the other gopis wear red-coloured skirts as a distinguishing mark. The male attire is always in orange and saffron. Manipuri dance artists wear kolu necklaces on their necks and adorn the face, back, waist, hands and legs with round jewellery ornaments or flower garlands that flow with the dress symmetry. The face is decorated with the sacred Gaudiya Vaishnava Tilak on the forehead and Gopi dots made of sandalwood above the eyebrows.

We are good at manufacturing costumes for the Bhangra dance. Traditional men’s outfits are chaadra, worn while performing this dance. A chaadra is a large piece of cloth completely draped around the waist. A kurta is also the attire for men for this folk dance. A Pagi (turban) is a traditional headdress to cover the head. While performing Bhangra, women wear salwar kameez, a long colourful shirt, and salwar (a type of baggy pant). Females also cover their neck and breast area with chunni (a long piece of cloth).
